TAILS OF THE FOREST KEEPSAKES

Hi , I’m Christina and owner and founder of Tails of the Forest Jewellery/Keepsakes including Horsehair Bracelets and memorial pieces made from loved ones Ashes and Pet hair/ashes.

Whether your looking for a special gift or to treasure a sad loss I’m here to help and to provide a keepsake. After starting to ride in the New Forest at 31, I was a late bloomer. Never the less I’ve now enjoyed 20 years of riding with my horse Faye and we’re still doing our thing now!!

Unfortunately things can suddenly change in life and I realised I’d like to have a keepsake of Faye, not only to remember the good times we have but also the treasured memories if anything was to happen. So I created a bracelet out of her tail hair and a friend loved them so much she ended up ordering a couple, before I knew it a business was born!

Over the years we also had two beautiful working Springers, tragically lost both within 3 months of each other - then the cat - then my wonderful dad.  I then decided to make memorial Jewellery and keepsakes in resin from their hair and Ashes.

I find it comforting to be able to wear a piece of Jewellery knowing that a part of them is  with me,  especially my dad , loss of a family member leave such a hole in your life.  I subsequently  made pieces for family and then was asked by friends to make pieces, so decided to add them to my business.

I provide a personal touch to all of my customers,  Once an order is received I get in touch to make sure you are happy with the setting and colour or if there is something more bespoke required as there are so many settings to choose from i.e cufflinks, tie pins.

All of my settings are Made from Sterling silver  Hallmarked 925 or SIL from a UK based reputable company.

Take a look around my website,   I hope I can help you, or need some help choosing - give me a call on 07752106365 or email me tailsoftheforest@hotmail.com - more than happy to help!
